She will next play Japanese veteran Ai Sugiyama on Tuesday night at 19:00 hrs in the 4th round. After early day seed drama on center court with an over 3 hour Hewitt match, and a Dementieva 3 set match; Justine had no such problems. She was in quite a good mood, the mood for love. This was the Belgian's first love-love scoreline win since giving Oliva Lukaszewicz a bit of affection in their first round match at the Australian Open back in 2004. Justine broke Nakamura's opening service game, and accelerated ahead. The Japanese player didn't have a look in the match, despite an opportunity to get a score on the board in the fifth game. Justine took the first set on her second set point 6-0 with serve. Justine continued to dominate in the second set, as the biggest marquee match in Nakamura's career continued to slide inward. The Japanese player double faulted, and lost grip of the occassion in the third game to give the Belgian a 3-0 lead. It was the Justine show from there, and the only blip was the 4x grand slam champion's eagerness to close out the set in style with big serves. Justine gave absolutely no points to the opponent in her final game 6-0. Final score: 6-0 6-0 in 55 mins Justine versus Ai Sugiyama in the 4th rd Justine will face veteran Ai Sugiyama on Tuesday night in the 4th round. This will be their 4th career meeting. The last time they played was at the WTA Championships last robin match in 2003 in their group, after Justine had already qualified to the semi-final berth with wins earlier in the week. The Belgian leads their head to head 2-1. Ai Sugiyama is currently ranked at # 25, and defeated rookie Safarova 6-3 7-5 in her 3rd round match in Indian Wells. The Japanese has had a good run in Doha the previous week, losing to eventual winner Nadia Petrova in their semi-final match in two tense sets. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.137.190.89
