Justine wasn't troubled with Dulko's game, as the Argentine failed to reach any breakpoints in the match. The Belgian will rev up to face Elena Dementieva on Friday's semi-final to be played at about 14:30 hrs. "It was a strange match. Not a lot of rhythm, not too many rallies. It's been for me my last three matches in the night, so I was feeling a bit tired, too. I, for sure didn't play my best tennis, but it's good to win that way sometimes against this kind of player. That's very important." - Justine Justine played her night quarterfinal against Gislea Dulko (WTA#29). The Argentine had focused on the clay court leg of the tour in the America's, and Indian Wells was actually her first hard court event since the Australian Open. Dulko had a great week in California coming into commendable form, and won her three matches with good serving in crucial tie breakers. Justine wisely started their first career meeting match on service in the opening set, and forced a breakpoint to 3-1. The rest of the match went on serve with the Belgian champion taking the first set as the Argentine failed to even reach an opportunity for a breakpoint. It was 6-3 in 33 minutes. The second set showed a bit of edgy play from two very calm players with double faults entering what was once the Argentine's strong point to collapse under more Henin-Hardenne pressure breakpoint games. There were nice exchanges at the net with Dulko, one in particular seen Justine run down a return to hit it over the high part of the net as a dazzling winner. The closing set went to Justine 6-2 in 37 minutes. Final Score: 6-3 6-2 in 70 minutes Justine -vs- Elena D Justine will now face Elena Dementieva (WTA#8) on Friday's semi-final. The Russian defeated Serbian starlet Ana Ivanovic during the day session in a rocky three set match 2-6 6-4 6-2. Justine has played Elena eight times, and leads their head to head 7-1. Their most recent meeting was a highly charged baseline final in Charleston's Family Circle Cup 2005 on green clay. The other marquee match on Friday at this year's Pacific Life Open features Martina Hingis in her return to Indian Wells, and Maria Sharapova out to make amends for last year's losing double bagel semi-final loss to Lindsay Davenport. Cheer on the Belgian all court virtuoso as she tries to win her second Pacific Life Open trophy at Indian Wells.
