The Belgian tennis queen will head into the Sony Ericsson Open finish line with a win/loss record of 15-1 for the season out of only four tournaments played, it will also be Justine's third consecutive final. The big finale will be played this Saturday from 12 noon against Serena Williams. "I just try to move forward. You can take something positive from anything in your life and that's what I am trying to do. It was an easier match than I was expecting. I was just happy to do my job, it was very clean. I had a solution to every ball she was hitting today." - Justine Finding courage in less than ideal scenarios has always been Justine's modus operandi, and she used the 1-5 third set deficit in her 3rd round match with Razzano to ignite flames for tennis this week in Miami. Justine faced young rising talent Anna Chakevetadze (Wta #11), already a holder of a Tier 1 title, but ruling class reigned over upstart in the semi-final. Chakevatadze couldn't match the standard that the World #1 expected her to follow as the occassion required. Justine won the first set with ease 6-2 in 33 minutes. The second set was more of the same as Justine outclassed Anna, whom seem to have lost conviction, to a quick 5-1, but the Russian held brightly to show skills for 5-3. Justine converted her third match point for the win at 6-3 in 38 minutes. Final score: 6-2 6-3 in 1 hr 11 min "I'm not in the past anymore. And the fact is that I try to enjoy every moment. I'm trying not to project myself too far in the future and forget a little bit of what happened in the past. I just feel lucky to do what I love so much. I feel very happy about that. I could come back in tough matches, and even when I was younger not a lot of people believed I could become a great tennis player. I proved a lot of things to those people but also to myself.
