It wasn't a sweet or lite Saturday stroll in a Swiss park today for Justine. The young Czech's onslaught of immaculate power serves, and net charges pushed the tennis queen to battle roars. Justine will play Tatiana Golovin in the final at Zurich. The finale will start at 13:30 hrs (CEST). Don't miss it! Nicole Vaidisova reached as high as #7 last year, but struggled with a bit of sophmore slumping, and injuries this season. A common story on tour, but a fresh restart in Moscow gave hints of what sort of player Justine would be meet in the semi-final. The first set was about holding serves, and maturity. One bad service game from Justine on Zurich's quicker indoor surface and Vaidisova took the first set from 3-5. Shorter bounces on the court also slightly diverted emphasis from baseline groundstrokes which is Justine's forte, and not Vaidisova's. A rocky first set from Justine, but things did get better. A vastly improved Justine in every aspect took control of the second set from the opening game. Again, the points veered off balance in favor to the server, and not the returner. The third set was a deja vu to the high risk, extreme tension filled matches from Justine Henin singles hit list. Alot of dangerous moments, and flashes of gems with gaps of silly misses all came to an end as Justine held serve in the final game.
