Hewitt upbeat
Former world number 1 Lleyton Hewitt practiced today
on Court No. 1 with Frenchman Nicolas Mahut. The French
Open will be the Aussie’s first tournament since the
beginning of April after being sidelined with a hip injury.
“I should be fine to play”, said Hewitt, after his work
out watched by coach Tony Roche. Currently languishing at
no. 26 in the world, Hewitt will be looking to kick start
his season which had started well when he reached the
last sixteen in Melbourne.
