Woodbridge avoids conflict with Hewitt

ATP vice-president Todd Woodbridge is making sure he and
Australian Davis Cup teammate Lleyton Hewitt remain on
good terms despite Hewitt's court case against the ruling
body of men's professional tennis.
With Australia's cup semi-final against Switzerland in
September, Woodbridge says he has avoided speaking to
Hewitt about his $2.25 million defamation lawsuit against
the ATP.
As vice-president and a players' representative on the
organisation, Woodbridge could potentially be at odds with
Hewitt, who lodged legal papers against the ATP late last month.
"I have not even had a conversation with him about that
and I'd probably rather keep it that way," Woodbridge said.
