Hewitt on the way back up, former coach says
Lleyton Hewitt's former tennis coach believes Hewitt has rediscovered his
confidence and form, and expects him to finish the year strongly.
Darren Cahill praised Hewitt's ability to handle the pressure of being world
number one over the past two years, and said his form at the US Open indicated
a resurgence.
Hewitt lost in the quarter finals to eventual finalist, Juan Carlos Ferrero,
but Cahill said his game has made giant strides forward in the last four weeks.
"Over time he'll probably be a better player for his year this year, in the
sense that some people are now trying to work out how to play him and how to
overpower him, and he'll make some changes to his game that will make him a
better player," he said.
