MOST VALUABLE PLAYER Gerald Wallace. Not only did he lead the NBA in steals (2.5 per game) but he did an exceptional job filling in as the starting power forward. Though constantly overmatched in height and bulk, he scored in the post and blocked over two shots per game. Ely once figured to be in demand as a low-post scorer, but his performance tailed off the last month of the season and he's a deficient rebounder. Jumaine Jones and Jake Voskuhl are unrestricted free agents, and indicated interest in returning.
