http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?topic=680378 If you guys haven't read this article check it out..........it has some good stuff: Key points: 1) Bobcats making it clear that their 2 picks are for sale 2) "There are lots of rumors, and we'd like to start some" Bickerstaff joked 3) "The Bobcats appear willing to give up draft picks for a veteran player, or move down in the draft because they feel it's deep enough that they can still get a quality player." 4) "If we're not calling at eight, that means we've got a pretty good player that we've traded for." 5) "We've had some interesting guys: Noah, Thornton, Brewer Crittenton, all of those guys are going to warrant some attention when we look at No. 8," Higgins said. Does that mean that Critt is a possibility at 8? 6) "With the 22nd pick, the Bobcats will choose from some of the players who worked out for them, Higgins said." Does that mean Morris Almond, McRoberts, Fernandez, Bellini. Splitter, etc are not options with the 22nd pick bc they didn't work out for us? I think Sean Williams is the pick. Who else worked out for us in the 22 range? 7) "Bickerstaff also indicated they would be interested in getting in on any multiple-team trades involving superstars Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers and Kevin Garnett of Minnesota. While both players are unlikely to end up in Charlotte, the Bobcats could be helpful in a deal because of their wealth of salary cap space." "I think we're going to defer talking about those players. I will say we have no problems being facilitators," Bickerstaff said. I like the idea of this if it means we get more picks or players for taking on a contract or 2. " The Bobcats worked out four more players Tuesday, including swingman Nick Young of Southern California, a possible lottery pick. Morris Almond of Rice, a possible late first-round pick, Jared Jordan of Marist and Ohio State's Ron Lewis were also on hand. The Bobcats have worked out more than 30 players, another indication they're uncertain where they'll be picking." "We've had a significant amount of inquiries about both picks, and really no one has insulted us," Bickerstaff said. OK nevermind about Almond.....I guess he worked out today. Also it is interesting that we worked out 30 players and people were questioning why the Bobcats aren't working anyone out. I don't know how I feel if we trade our picks.......I kind of like the idea of getting Brewer, Noah, Thornton, or Young but let's see who the veteran is. -- A-Rod D.Jeter J.Posada R.Clemen R.Cano M.Cairo H.Matsui M.Cabrer B.Abreu NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˍ NY ˙ ˙ ● ● ● ●⊙ ⊙ ˙ ˙○. . ⊙ ⊙ω> < ⊙ ⊙ ε \ ∵ ▽ ∵\ /██\ \\██ /■■■-◎/██ /██\ /██\ <██y /██ ↖/██> The| \ New<< York◢▼◣ Ya||nkees / ╰↘ ││mψwillmango \ \, Ptt| ╰ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.113.139.82
