This is what he’s hearing: - Things are crazy right now, not just because of whatever is being worked on in Vegas but because since acquiring Erick Dampier the phone is ringing off the hook with teams interested in making a trade for him. - He has heard about several deals, but wagers that much of what is being circulated even around their offices could be misinformation, there are certain trades the Bobcats WANT to be leaked so whatever the ‘big deal’ is will be written off as another rumor. In retrospect this is what happened to the Calderon deal, it was intentionally leaked to throw people off the Dallas deal, but Toronto are enraged because they weren’t in on the joke. - I told him what I had heard from my source in NY, and he said that while he had heard parts of what I was saying he had not heard about the scope of what I heard (and Ourday did).
