Jol: We must learn
Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol believes his side must learn from their
last-minute heartbreak against West Ham.
Spurs were looking good for the three points thanks to Mido's opener before
Anton Ferdinand rescued an unlikely share of the spoils.
Jol believes West Ham were full value for their point based on their
second-half display, but felt the timing of the goal was harsh.
Jol opted to leave out striker Jermain Defoe for the visit of his former club
and the Dutch tactician has revealed it was a decision he was happy with.
With Defoe playing regular football for Spurs of late Jol was happy to give
Republic of Ireland international star Robbie Keane the start.
