Spurs to miss out on Rivaldo
Former Tottenham trialist Rivaldo looks set to return to Italy.
Martin Jol is keen on the Paraguayan wonder-kid, but it now seems that the
17-year-old intends to move to Serie A.
He was with Venezia until earlier this year, but moved back to Paraguay after
deciding he needed to leave Venice.
A host of clubs have been tracking his progress, but Spurs looked to have
jumped to the head of the queue when they brought him to England on trial
earlier this month.
However, Rivaldo himself has decided he wants to move to Italy again and
is now training with Fiorentina with a view to sealing a permanent move
in January.
