Spurs are having a fantastic season and currently sit in fourth place in the table, four points ahead of fifth place Arsenal, which would result in a crack at the premier club competition in Europe next term. However, influential Dutch midfielder Davids has warned his team-mates that unless they show more of a killing touch, they could face heartbreak over their ambitions. ''If we miss out on Champions League football by one or two points, we have only ourselves to blame,'' said Davids. ''The way we lost to Fulham recently really angered me. “We put pressure on their squad, only to let all our hopes for at least a draw slip away in the dying minutes. What lesson can be learnt? “90 percent of ball possession means nothing if you're going to be sent home with a point.
