Tottenham hit by King injury blow
Tottenham captain Ledley King will miss the start of the season and could be
out for eight weeks after picking up a knee injury in training.
An initial scan revealed the 25-year-old England defender will be out of
action until September at least.
"Ledley is out with suspected cartilage problems and he could be out for six
to eight weeks," Spurs boss Martin Jol told the club's website.
King had recovered from the broken foot that forced him out of the World Cup.
