Pavlyuchenko finally sealed a move to White Hart Lane from Spartak Moscow on transfer deadline day. The Russian striker had stated just a week earlier that he would not be able to join due to concerns over how his family would adjust to life in a different country. However, Pavlyuchenko has now explained that the club have been able to help, while he was also convinced to come after speaking with Ramos. Pavlyuchenko is hoping to make a big impact for his new club and could make his debut in the home game against Aston Villa after the international break.
