DERBY DEAL FOR DAWKINS
Simon Dawkins has joined Derby County on a permanent transfer.
The attacking midfielder joined our Academy in July, 2004 and enjoyed loan
spells at Leyton Orient, RC Strasbourg and San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS,
where he scored 14 goals in 53 league appearances in 2011 and 2012.
Simon, 26, made his Premier League debut on loan at Aston Villa last season
and after scoring once in three matches for our Under-21s this term, has
impressed in his initial loan spell at the Rams, where he’s made 13
appearances in the Championship and scored three goals.
