DELE SIGNS NEW DEAL
We are delighted to announce that Dele Alli has signed a new contract with the
Club which will run until 2022.
The midfielder joined us from MK Dons in January, 2015, and after being loaned
back to the Dons for the remainder of that season, he made his Spurs debut on
the opening day of the 2015-16 campaign at Manchester United.
The 20-year-old went on to enjoy an excellent breakthrough season with the Club
as he made 46 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in all
competitions.
His achievements did not go unnoticed as he picked up the PFA Young Player of
the Year award and was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.
He also scooped the Match of the Day Goal of the Season prize for his
spectacular volley against Crystal Palace in January.
He has since passed the 50-appearance mark for us in all competitions and
scored his 11th goal for the Club in last weekend’s 4-0 win against Stoke
City.
Dele made his full England debut in October, 2015, and has since won 12 caps
and scored one goal for his country.
