AUBURN HILLS -- These are crucial times for the Pistons.

The team's nucleus isn't used to losing. They have won a world
championship, been in six consecutive Eastern Conference finals,
and have been an annual title contender.

Nobody is calling them that these days. The words are harsher and
less complimentary.

In the midst of a five-game losing streak, the longest such Pistons
streak since 2003-04, they visit Memphis today in hopes of ending

out what type of team we are. Guys in this situation could start to
point fingers and play the blame game."

"It's nobody's fault but all of ours. All of us are to blame," Iverson
said. "It's everybody's fault from the coaching staff to the players.
Everybody needs to take responsibility. Once we step up and do it as
a unit, we can turn this thing around."

Somehow, someway the Pistons, in Iverson's way of thinking, have
to get back to the way they were playing during a seven-game win
streak before the losing streak began.

The streak has coincided with the switch to a smaller starting lineup,
while the wins were largely with a taller lineup.

Richard Hamilton returned from a groin injury, sending Amir
Johnson to the bench.

Curry said it's not right to compare this team to Pistons teams of
recent years because so many of these players have not gone through
the experiences the previous team did.

的。因為陣上有這麼多的球員不如以往的活塞那樣經驗豐富。
"But these guys are trying to do the right thing, trying to get into the
right positions, and I'm confident they'll get there," Curry said.
