http://www.omarvizquel.com/ Dear fans: My career as a player in Cleveland has come to an end. When I came to the team in 1994, I couldn't believe how much the people in Cleveland loved baseball. Throughout the years I began to understand how much the city of Cleveland needed and deserved a championship team. It is a rarity in the world of baseball to remain on one team for as long as I did. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to play for such a great team for so many years. I had the chance to meet a lot of wonderful people that had such a positive impact on my life. The trainers, clubhouse people, the people in the front office, and the entire the staff at Jacob's field. They made it a pleasure to come to work everyday. The friendships I had with my teammates I will always cherish and I knew I could always count on their support. I would like to express how wonderful everybody made me feel during my years in Cleveland. Finally, I would like to thank all of the fans for showing up at the ballpark and supporting my team win or lose, holding us to a higher standard, making us perform at a higher level, expecting the best, and sticking with us through the worst, and that is why you will always be number one in my heart! Good luck to my boys, the Cleveland Indians! - Omar -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.168.144.43
