TEAM:
1B Jordan Brown (.330, 10-HR, 69-RBI) is about to complete his first season
with the Akron Aeros and his third professional season…The 23-year old is no
stranger to the leader boards…He leads the league with a .330 average and 144
hits…He is among the league leaders with a .415OBP(4th), .897(OPS), 210 total
bases(8th) and 746R(9th)…He has reached a base in 28 straight games(7/14/07),
the 4th longest streak in the league…
In 96 games with the Aeros, Asdrubal Cabrera batted .310 belted 8 homers,
chalked up 54 RBI’s, had 78 runs scored and snagged 23 stolen bases…He was
promoted to Triple-A Buffalo on July 30th and after just nine games he received
his first Major League call up…In 10 games with the tribe he is batting .290
(9-31) with 8-R, HR, 5-RBI.
