The Indians are set to sign Brett Myers to a one-year deal with a
club option, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com (on Twitter).
The right-hander is represented by LSW Baseball.
Myers, 32, pitched to a 3.31 ERA with 5.6 K/9 and 2.1 BB/9 in 70
relief appearances last season for the Astros and White Sox. However, he
has been vocal about his desire to be a starting pitcher once again in
2013. The Tribe will plug Myers into the starting five, according to
Paul Hoynes of the Plain Dealer (on Twitter).
