The season has been up and down. The team has been high and low and in todays match all of the above occured between the first and second half. There is no excuse to be given to this team. They are like wimpering children, scared to take its first step. Even when all the conditions are perfect they fail. Inter were winning this Derby by a score of 2-0 by halftime yet still lost 3-2. Milan had the upper hand in possesion but Inter was pressing and doing well to fustrate the Milan side and counter. So what happened between the first and second half? Inter come out flat, scared, they resort back to sunday league tactics sitting back and allowing Milan to come at them. When in the first half Inter were pressing high and fustrating Milan, they were now sitting at the edge of there own box and waiting for the opposition. This is insane, this team has pretty much put me on my last straw. I have never seen so many professional players play like such cowards with a 2-0 lead none the less. You could see it at the start of the second half when J. Zanetti instead of going on his usual head down runs stopped short each time. You could see it as Farinos so casually plays an awful lazy ball in the center of the park that allows Milan to gain back possesion and leads to Kaka's tie goal. Inter were scared, even up 2-0 they did not have the confidence to even try and play with Milan. They did not believe in there own ability and this is a disgrace my friends. I cannot even get into the details of this match as I usually do. I am so mad at the display shown because it became clear to me today that there is nothing that can change our fortune. We can bring in all the best players, new coaches, new president, new everything but our problem is a pure mental one. Inter does not have the mentality of a winning team plain and simple. They lack instinct to win in every respect and today it came out clear that even a 2-0 lead in a Derby could not bring out the toughness needed to gain an important result. Milan came back from 2-0 down and scored 2 goals in less then one minute!! There is only one word to describe this team....FRAGILE! At the first sign of trouble this teams cracks and breaks. What else can I say about this team and this season. It was 1989 since we last won a scudetto and with today's display it looks like will have to wait many years longer as even the champions league spot for next year is slowly slipping away.
