The Greek striker, 25, has rescinded his loan deal with Mallorca six months before it was set to expire. The capture of the former Roma youth team star should now end the Nerazzurri's search for a new forward. Inter were looking to increase their options to cope with the African Cup of Nations absence of Obafemi Martins. The club were all set to sign Chievo's Victor Obinna as cover before he was also called up by the Nigerian squad. Roberto Mancini's outfit swooped once it became clear that Simone Inzaghi wouldn't be joining on loan from Lazio.
