"The final will be Italy v France, which will be a superb final, and I hope
Italy win. I know many of the players who will take part in the final, Italy
have every chance of doing well and winning this World Cup."
Inter's preparations for the new season begin next week, but what kind of
season will it be after the scandal that has rocked Italian football? "It
will be a strange season, but us Interisti can stay calm because we are
totally on the outside of this matter," Zanetti said. "The most intelligent
thing we can do is concentrate on our work. Personally I feel good and I'm
waiting for pre-season training to start next week. Like our fans, we are all
proud to be Interisti
