Where? I cannot confirm that detail, but there was a meeting and I can assure you it was very positive.” This is not the first time the former Porto and Chelsea boss has been linked with the Nerazzurri, but Roberto Mancini’s hastily retracted resignation and Champions League exit have made his situation untenable. “This was the first time Moratti and Mourinho met face to face, but Jose and Mendes have had other meetings with Inter directors,” continued Parames. “If the negotiations were not already at an advanced stage, then Mourinho would not have flown to Milan.
