Inter striker Adriano could be frozen out of Jose Mourinho's first-team plans
for a lengthy period and is reportedly considering a return to Brazil.
L'Imperatore seemed to have turned a corner after a turbulent spell at San
Siro and had been steadily improving since his return from a loan spell with
Sao Paulo.
But Adriano seems to have destroyed his relationship with boss Mourinho by
turning up to training in a poor state after a big night on Sunday and
arriving late yesterday.
“I have angered Mourinho and this time he won't let me play for the rest of
the year, even if I only drank water ” the hitman allegedly told friends.
Yesterday night it has been reported that Adriano voiced the possibility of
moving back to Brazil.
The Special One has been reluctant to make any direct comment but he did
issue a vague warning.
“Those who betray me have to go a long way to make amends,” he growled.
