Croatia's Ivanisevic to face U.S. in Davis Cup

ZAGREB, Croatia (AP) -- Goran Ivanisevic was selected Monday to play
in next month's Davis Cup matches against the United States.
He will be joined by Ivan Ljubicic, Lovro Zovko and Mario Ancic for
the Feb. 7-9 matches in Zagreb, Croatia captain Nikola Pilic said.
Before the announcement, Ivanisevic had tentatively been set to play
only doubles, provided he played at all.
Last week, the hard-serving 2001 Wimbledon champion withdrew from a
second-round match at a Challenger event in Heilbronn, Germany. He
had told Croatian papers that chronic pain in his arm might prevent
him from playing in the Davis Cup.
