Goran looks forward to fatherhood
Croatia's former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic said he was looking
forward to becoming a father for the first time in June.
"Little Ivanisevic is the most clever thing that I have ever done in my life,"
the 31-year-old told the daily Sportske Novosti.
"I hope that everything will go well. Everybody says that being a parent is an
awesome thing.
"We are still thinking about the name and they say it will be a boy."
He also announced that he and his girlfriend, Croatian model Tatjana Dragovic,
planned to marry.
Ivanisevic returned to the courts at Heilbronn, Germany, on Monday following a
year-long break after undergoing shoulder surgery.
The Croatian star is testing his form for a possible place in the Davis Cup
tie against the United States in Zagreb on February 7.
But he admitted that he enjoyed the break from the gruelling circuit.
"I have seen what it is like to live without stress and panic.
It is really nice!" added Ivanisevic, who won his first Grand Slam title at
Wimbledon in 2001 after being a runner-up three times.
