Date of birth: 11 April 1980 Position: Forward Current Club: Nagoya Grampus Eight (JPN) Dynamic forward who only made his international debut in 2004, yet went on to accumulate more than 30 caps within two years. Scored three vital goals in the Asian Nations Cup of that year, and also represented Japan in the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup. Played in nine of Japan’s 12 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, scoring one goal - the winner against Singapore.
