Mancini linked with Japan
Roberto Mancini could take over Japan in time for next year's World Cup in
South Africa, according to the Italian Press.
The 44-year-old has been out of work for a year.
Inter sacked him last summer despite winning three Scudetti in a row.
As is often the case in Italian football, Mancini is still tied to Inter for
another two years even though they fired him.
Japan have just qualified for the World Cup, but the Japanese FA are
considering giving current incumbent Takeshi Okada the boot.
Mancini has been linked with several big jobs this year.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich were rumoured to be after him, but their interest
never turned into anything concrete.
