CLEVELAND -- Last season, LeBron James openly campaigned for the Cavaliers
to find a way to trade for Jason Kidd, the Team USA teammate with whom he
formed a fast friendship and on-court bond. It didn't happen, as the
Mavericks put together a better package (including Devin Harris) and got
Kidd from the Nets. But in the NBA, doors that once seemed locked often end
up re-opening. That may be the case with Kidd and James as teammates.

This summer Kidd will become an unrestricted free agent and there's a good
chance that the Cavs will again look into his availability. He has said he
wants to remain a Maverick, but Sunday he certainly made it seem like playing
alongside James in Cleveland was a viable option.
這次Kidd是不受限制FA，再也不用擔心「騎士拿OO跟XX就要換Kidd，真是老二比雞腿
啊」之類的酸言酸語。騎士可以開價，不用割一堆老二去換還被人嫌臭。當然Kidd不
免俗的一定要說自己明年還要再為小牛效力的話，聽聽也就可以了，離offseason還好
幾個月，要說的話可多著喔。
"I could sit and watch from the bench," Kidd said. "[LeBron] is so talented,
he's going to get guys wide open shots. So we'll look at free agency and
what happens for me next year." The Cavs are thrilled with point guard Mo
Williams, who became an All-Star this year. But that doesn't mean there isn't
room for another, especially if Kidd were to accept a more limited role, as
he did for Team USA. Though the Cavs have Delonte West and Daniel Gibson who
can handle the ball, they don't have another true point guard on the roster.
Kidd is the best point guard of his generation and as he showed Sunday, when
he scored nine points with eight assists and seven rebounds, there's still
gas in the tank.

The Cavs have some free agency issues to deal with this summer, most notably
Anderson Varejao, who can opt out of his contract. Wally Szczerbiak will also
be a free agent. But with perhaps as much as $30 million coming off the
payroll, the Cavs may have some flexibility. They will have their mid-level
exception ($5 million) and their bi-annual exception ($2 million) they could
use on outside free agents. Stay tuned.
騎士夏天有些本身的FA問題要處理，例如一定會跳脫合約的Varejao跟合約到期的Wally
。不過總薪資一次空出三千萬，會讓騎士有些操作上的餘裕。（三千萬=Wally一千三百
七十萬加Snow七百三十萬加聯盟給付Snow保險補償三百萬加大V放棄的六百二十萬）
後場要怎麼輪值就先別扯那麼多，畢竟Kidd人不一定來。可以想見的是
1.Kidd會是好老師，帶領年輕的後場成長，儘管騎士有計畫讓Gibson的球風往Mo的路
線發展。
2.Kidd打替補後衛板凳能展現全新風貌，Hickson、Jackson能學著打團隊籃球。
3.最壞但是最實際的情況：就算Kidd不適應騎士也沒差，我們不用別人也別想用。
