Boss Fabio Capello believes he now has the best central midfield pair
in world football after Patrick Vieira joined Emerson at Juventus.
Capello相信他現在擁有了全世界足球場上最好的一對中前衛，
他們就是Vieira＋Emerson！
The Frenchman signed for the Turin giants from Arsenal on Thursday,
in a ￡13.75m move, to significantly strengthen the Italian champions.
Arsenal的Vieira以１３．７５ｍ英鎊轉會JUVE，
很顯著地強化了JUVE的中場力量。
"The Emerson-Vieira partnership is the best in circulation
and not just in Italy," raved Capello on Saturday.
對Vieira的加盟一事，Capello表示：
「Emerson＋Vieira的組合不僅在義大利，放眼全世界都是最好的！」
"Vieira is an important signing, a natural born leader.
He will also settle in fairly easily thanks to the other Frenchmen
at this club.
「Vieira的加盟非常重要，他是一個天生的領導者，
而且感謝隊上的其他法國球員，他也很輕鬆地適應了這裡。」
"He has great quality, both technically and also as a person.
He has matured over these years but he still has a great desire
to keep on improving."

Capello, who bossed Vieira for a brief spell at Milan, is more than happy
with what his club have achieved on the transfer market so far.
Capello在執教ACM時期曾短暫地帶過Vieira，
現在他很高興JUVE縣階段在轉會市場上的成果。
"This is what today's Juventus is," added the tactician.
"We have signed (Robert) Kovac in defence, Vieira and
(Giuliano) Giannichedda in midfield and (Adrian) Mutu in attack.
Capello補充說：「今天是JUVE的好日子！我們在後防線簽下了Kovac，
中場線簽下了Vieira與Giannichedda，鋒線則簽下了Mutu。」
"We are fine as we are, we have got the players we wanted
and we are competitive for the new campaign."
「現在JUVE的陣容很出色了，我們拿下了想要的球員，
面對接下來的賽事具有很高的競爭力。」
Juventus ended the last campaign as champions of Italy
but the pressure is now on for them to conquer Europe after
such illustrious arrivals.
JUVE在上賽季奪得聯賽冠軍，
不過現在的壓力在於簽下這些傑出球員後，將要面對征服歐洲的目標。
"I'm not scared by the responsibility," Capello responded.
"After all, I prefer to have ‘real champions’ in my squad."
Capello回應說：「對於這項任務我並不感到害怕，
畢竟，我更喜歡自己的隊上都是『真正的冠軍』！」

Emerson thankful for Vieira

Juventus midfielder Emerson has thanked the club for providing him
with the ideal central midfield partner in Patrick Vieira.
Emerson感謝JUVE為他帶來一個理想的中前衛搭檔－－Vieira！
The Brazilian was accompanied by various players last term
such as Manuele Blasi, Alessio Tacchinardi and Stephen Appiah.
在上賽季Emerson跟許多球員搭檔出賽過，諸如Blasi、Tacchinardi、Appiah。
But the former Roma ace will now be aided by the French international
following his ￡14m move from Arsenal.
不過在JUVE以１４ｍ英鎊簽下Vieira之後，Emerson有了更好的支援。
"I did suffer last year because I had no constant partner in midfield,
but now I've got one hell of a teammate," he stated.
Emerson說：「去年因為在中場一直沒有固定的搭檔，打來確實有些辛苦，
不過現在我有一個好到不行的隊友了！」
"Fabio Capello promised me last term that bringing in
a world-class midfielder to play by my side was a priority.
「Capello在上賽季就對我承諾過，
帶來一個世界級的中場來跟我搭配是最優先要完成的事情。」
"And I honestly don't think I could have asked for anyone
better than Patrick Vieira.
「而老實說，我再也想不到有比Vieira更好的選擇了！」
"He is a wonderful footballer and I believe most of our European opponents
will be scratching their heads now that he is a Juventus player."
「他是一個非常出色的球員，我相信歐洲賽場我們大部分的對手都要抓破頭了，
因為他現在已經成為JUVE的球員了。」
Emerson has revealed that he has again received offers from various clubs
this summer, but has no intention of quitting the Bianconeri.
Emerson也透露今夏他又再次接獲許多球會對他表現興趣，
不過他並沒有打算離開JUVE。
He stated: "I feel flattered by the interest in me
but why would I want to leave Juventus right now?
Emerson聲明：「這些球會對我有意讓我很高興，
不過我怎麼會想在這時候離開JUVE？」
"I would really love to win the Champions' League with this club
and I think we have a great chance now that we've signed Vieira."
「我真的非常想在JUVE贏得歐洲冠軍盃，而且我認為我們有很好的機會，
因為現在我們簽下了Vieira！」
Juventus boss Capello yesterday insisted that the pairing of
Emerson and Vieira was the best in the world.
Capello昨天（就是第一篇新聞）說Emerson＋Vieira的組合，
是全世界最好的組合。
