Cannavaro hits back at jeers

Fabio Cannavaro has turned on the Juventus fans who jeered the team
during the closing stages of their Champions League swansong.
Cannavaro批評 JUVE球迷在歐冠賽事最後階段嘲弄球隊的作法。
“We all wanted to win the Champions League,” said the defender
after their 2-0 aggregate exit at the hands of Arsenal.
他說：「我們都想要贏得歐洲冠軍盃。」
“But the Scudetto is also important, as there are teams that went out
and aren't still in the running for their domestic titles,
so they're worse off than us.
「不過聯賽冠軍一樣是重要的，也是有歐冠被淘汰、聯賽難奪冠的球隊，
他們還比我們更慘啊！」
（老大…有人往下比的嗎？別這麼沒志氣好唄…）
“There's something about Italian football where the moment something
goes wrong, even during a game, the jeers and banners come out.
「此刻義大利足球有些地方是錯誤的，甚至在比賽中，那些嘲弄與橫幅都會出現。」
“A team should be supported until the final whistle and judged
at the end of a season. It's not reassuring to see those banners
when you're still challenging for an important trophy.”
「球隊應該被支持到終場哨聲響起，然後在賽季結束後才被評斷，
當球隊還在為另一項重要錦標努力時，看到這些橫幅並沒有打氣的效果。」
The Stadio Delle Alpi crowd was particularly vitriolic in its jeers
at Zlatan Ibrahimovic and called the name of Alessandro Del Piero,
who was out injured.
“We had the right spirit tonight, but weren't able to score and
were perhaps missing some of the quality provided by people like
Del Piero and Mauro Camoranesi.
「我們今晚有正確的精神，不過無法得分，
或許是因為缺了像 Camoranesi、Del Piero這樣的球員能提供的質量。」
“If we'd been able to get one back in the first half,
then it would've been a different game.”
「如果我們能夠重回第一腿，會是一場完全不同的比賽。」
The 2-0 first leg defeat at Highbury sealed their fate,
but Juventus have now failed to hit the back of the net in their
last three official encounters on the trot against Arsenal and Treviso.
JUVE近三場對 Treviso與兩戰 Arsenal，一球未進。
“We are certainly tired compared to a couple of months ago,
as all these games catch up with you,” he added.
「相比幾個月前，我們肯定是比較疲累，畢竟打了這麼多場比賽。」
“We needed more concentration and grit over the two legs,
but we couldn't do enough. We're all very disappointed.”
「我們需要更專注、咬緊牙關，不過我們做得不夠，大家都非常失望。」
Cannavaro performed a couple of crucial tackles on Thierry Henry
and praised the Frenchman.
Cannavaro對 Henry作出了幾次重要搶斷，賽後稱讚了 Henry。
“Henry is a great player at the peak of his powers with strength,
technique, pace and can hold the front line by himself.
He didn't have many chances tonight, but we all know his capabilities.”
他說：「Henry是個正處於巔峰期的出色球員，有力量、有技術、有速度，
可以單靠自己就撐起前場，他今晚機會不多，不過我們都知道他的能力。」
