Brazilian Nelson Dida hasn't impressed and there do seem to be problems in negotiations regarding the renewal of his contract which runs out in 2007. Although the two parties were set to meet in an effort to find an agreement, Dida has still not put pen to paper. It's unclear how much Juventus would want for Buffon who they signed from Parma in 2001 for a goalkeeping record of ￡32m.
