The Azzurri kick off their campaign on Monday evening in a game which the Juventus icon has labelled as vital. “We are not going out there to entertain or leave a good impression, but to win the match,” he said on Saturday. Del Piero說：「我們來這邊比賽可不是為了娛樂或是讓他們留下好印象的，我們是為了贏得這場比賽的勝利。」 “We are two days away from our first encounter and we need to focus on the Africans because that is our most difficult game.” 「距離我們的首戰還有兩天，我們必須專注在非洲人身上，因為這會是我們最難打的一場比賽。」 The Azzurri will start the tie as favourites against the World Cup debutants, but Del Piero is showing them great respect. “We've studied them and we will continue to study them.
