“I'm confident I can achieve great things here”
At Wednesday afternoon's appointment with the press,
Cristiano Zanetti spoke about his move to Turin this summer:
“At the beginning it wasn't easy, having made the decision to
come here with certain objectives in mind, but things are much better now
I've had the chance to get to know everyone here, it's a fantastic group.
I really like it here and I will give my all for the team,
the fans and the club as I have done throughout my career”.
週三下午的記者會，Zanetti談到他今夏轉會到 JUVE的歷程：
「在一開始這並不容易，我作出決定來到這裡，心裡是有特定目標的，
不過現在事情順利多了，我有機會跟大家混熟，這是個非常出色的團隊；
我真的很喜歡這裡，我會為球隊、球迷跟球會付出一切，
就像我職業生涯一路走來所做的那樣。」
With Juventus beginning their campaign away at Rimini this Saturday,
Zanetti is prepared for the challenges that lie ahead this season:
“We are in Serie B this season, we know that now.
It's obviously not ideal but we will approach the task in the right way.
We find out more about our opponents tomorrow but one thing we know
for sure is that Rimini are a good side and we must be prepared for
an hard game. The quality of football in Serie B really isn't that
different to Serie A; it might be slightly more aggressive and physical,
but we know we can do well in this championship”.
JUVE將在週六對上 Rimini展開新賽季，Zanetti已經作好迎接挑戰的準備：
「我們本季會在義乙，我們現在知道了，很明顯這不符理想，
不過我們會以正確的方式面對，我們明天會更瞭解對手，
而有一件事是我們瞭解的，就是 Rimini是隻好球隊，我們必須準備面對一場硬仗，
義乙的水準其實跟義甲沒有太大差異，或許會比較激烈而強調體能，
但是我們知道自己能在聯賽上有所展獲。」
The Italian international explained how it feels to finally know
the team's point of departure: “We were still hoping for Serie A
right up until the last moment but the club explained the situation and
now it's a matter of getting on with things and making sure we return to
the highest level as soon as possible. There are no dramas;
we're working hard, we're committed, and we will be more than ready
for Saturday. Even with a 17 point penalty the aim is still to win
all our games and achieve promotion straight away.
It's a challenge but I believe we can do it, we all do”.
Zanetti接著解釋終於知道球隊出發點的感覺：
「我們曾希望能在最後一刻重返義甲，不過球會解釋了情況，
現在重要的是適應以確保我們能盡快重回頂級聯賽，並沒有戲劇性的事會發生；
我們非常勤奮而堅定，所做的準備遠超過週六所需的，
儘管有著１７分的罰分，目標仍然會是贏下所有的比賽，直接完成升級，
這會是個挑戰，不過我相信我們能辦到，我們都如此相信。」
Zanetti is very happy with the move to Turin:
“It was my choice to join Juve and I'm confident I can accomplish
great things here. Would I like to get back into the international setup?
Of course, but the most important thing is to play well for Juventus”.
Zanetti很滿意能到都靈來：
「加盟 JUVE是我的選擇，我有信心能在這裡完成偉大成就，
我想不想重返國家隊陣容？當然，不過最重要的事是為 JUVE打好比賽。」
The 29 year-old then spoke about his relationship with Didier Deschamps:
“I haven't been here long so I'm still getting to know him,
but so far he has made a really great impression.
He was a brilliant player and he understands football.
Perhaps he can teach me a few things as he too was a central midfielder!”
Zanetti接下來談到他跟 Deschamps的關係：
「我在這裡待得還不夠講，所以我還在瞭解他，
不過到目前為止他給我的印象非常好，他曾是個傑出的球員，瞭解足球，
或許他能教導我一些事，畢竟他也是個中前衛！」
And a word on the team tactics: “It's up to the coach to decide,
but we are capable of playing a number of formations, not just 4-4-2 .
It also depends on the team we are playing”.
談到球隊的戰術：「這是教練才能決定的，
不過我們有能力打好幾種陣型，不是只有４４２而已，這也得看我們對上誰而定。」
The final thought was for Inter chairman Giacinto Facchetti
who passed away on Monday: “He was one of very few men you could
describe as exceptional. It is a very a sad loss”.
最後，Zanetti談到在週一過世的 Inter主席 Facchetti：
「他是極少數你能稱之為卓越的人，失去他讓人非常感傷。」
