Ferrara makes Pessotto call

Ciro Ferrara has revealed that he wants Gianluca Pessotto
to assist him within the Juventus youth sector once he recovers
from his serious injuries.
Ferrara透露自己希望 Pessotto能在康復後到 JUVE青年隊幫忙。
The freshly appointed Juventus team manager is in a serious
but stable condition in hospital after a serious fall –
suspected to be a suicide attempt – last month.
Pessotto, who retired from the game at the end of last season,
has since been inundated with support from his Juventus colleagues.
Ferrara again visited his former teammate today and
hopes to see him back to his very best as soon as possible.

“I asked him if he wanted to work with me with the youngsters,
he gestured yes,” the Neapolitan, part of Italy's Germany 2006 staff,
told reporters.
Ferrara說：「我問他是否願意跟我一起與年輕人打拼，他做手勢表示認可。」
“Pessotto got a little emotional when we brought him
the World Cup earlier this week. He can't talk
but we can understand his gestures.
「Pessotto在本週稍早看到我們帶世界盃去看他的時候情緒有點激動，
他還無法開口說法不過我們瞭解他的動作。」
“We are all hopeful that he will recover. I'm optimistic by nature
and I'm convinced that he will win this battle.
「我們對於他的復原充滿希望，我生性樂觀，我相信他會戰勝病痛。」
“We'll continue to stay close to him and ordered him to get well soon.
I've told him that I want him working by my side for Juventus.”
「我們會持續跟他接觸好要求他盡快康復，
我已經告訴他，我要他跟我一起為 JUVE工作。」
Italy and Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon also spent a few minutes
with Pessotto at the Molinette hospital on Thursday.
“He seems happy with our World Cup achievement,” noted the 'keeper
who then left for a meeting with his club about his future.
Buffon也去看了 Pessotto，他說：「他看來對我們的世界盃之行很滿意。」
Buffon, as a result of the Calciopoli revelations,
is expected to be sold by the Turin giants during the summer.
