“Juventus will protect its own interests”
“Juventus will protect its own interests and will not allow
for anyone to take advantage of this difficult situation.”
This was the message sent out by Jean-Claude Blanc to those clubs
preparing to put in offers on our players. The CEO has welcomed
his new post with great enthusiasm, the same enthusiasm that
drives President Cobolli and all the others who have chosen
to stay in spite of the delicate situation, those who have chosen
to fight for the club, and in particular, the new coach:
“Deschamps has given a strong signal. The fact that he has joined us
at this moment in time is a great demonstration of his love for the club.
It's wonderful to see such great desire, the same desire shared
by all of us who are striving to bring Juventus back to the top.
As far as the team is concerned, it must be the most competitive possible.
The players must have the willingness to undertake this new challenge
and share in this project. We will look at the situation case by case,
how much they want to stay, but one thing for certain is that
if there are teams that want our players, we will only consider
the most realistic offers”.
首席執行長 Jean-Claude Blanc說：
「JUVE會保護自己的利益，不會允許任何人在這艱困的局勢中佔我們的便宜，
Deschamps傳達出一個有力的信號，他選擇在這時刻加入我們，
就是對球會之愛的絕佳展演，能看到這樣偉大的渴望非常美好，
這樣的渴望感染了每一個努力奮鬥要將 JUVE重新帶回頂峰的人，
球隊所關切的，就是要盡可能地保持競爭力，
球員必須要有承擔新挑戰與分享這個計畫的意願，
我們將一個一個審視他們願意留隊的程度，不過有一件事是可以確定的，
就是如果有球會想要我們的球員，我們只會考慮那些符合現實的報價。」
And the sponsors? The answer given by a man with enormous experience
in the field was as follows: “We're in contact with them every day.
We've had a very good response so far. The same line of thought
can apply to them as it does to the fans, as it does to everyone:
when the chips are down you find out who you're real friends are”.
關於贊助商，Blanc說：「我們每天都跟他們接觸，目前為止得到的回應非常好，
同樣的思維就像對球迷一樣也對他們起了作用，
在緊要生死關頭你才會發現誰是真正的朋友。」
Another question addressed the future of the stadium project
and of Channel Juve: “Since our arrival at Juventus, Cobolli and I
have had to deal very quickly with a series of situations of
the greatest importance on a sporting level, from the departure of
Capello to the choice of Deschamps. These have been our priorities so far,
obviously we will now begin thinking about all the other projects”.
關於球場計畫與 Channel Juve的未來，Blanc說：
「自從我跟 Cobolli來到 JUVE，就必須很快速地處理一連串狀況，
最重要的是體育層面的事從 Capello離職到 Deschamps就任，
到目前為止這些事是我們選擇該優先處理的，
對於所有其他的計畫我們從現在開始思考。」

贊助商的問題能越快解決越好，因為在沒歐冠打又只能打義乙的狀況下，
JUVE需要盡快知道手頭能有多少資金，才能決定球員可以怎麼挽留，
不然一年總合一億多的球員薪資是會壓死人的，
在收支能維持穩定的狀況下，我希望 Blanc能堅守他的第一段話，
假設沒降級，我不認為隊上目前有哪個球員應該被賣，
所以他如果給我賣便宜了，我是肯定會翻桌的。
