I've been with the club for 10 years, something which gives me enormous satisfaction. They have helped me out and stuck by me through these difficult times, now it's up to me to give something back in return”. Birindelli戰勝了讓他錯過整個上賽季的膝傷，準備好面對新的挑戰：「過去一年對我來說很辛苦，不過我已經把它拋在腦後，準備好面對下一步了，我已經在這裡十年了，這讓我有巨大的滿足感，球會幫助我、在艱苦的時刻陪伴著我，現在該是我做出回報的時候了。」 Birindelli's experience will be invaluable in the coming seasons as the young bianconeri side prepare themselves for what lies ahead: “I hope I can give advice to the younger players. When I arrived here as a youngster the other players went out of their way to make sure I felt at home, now it's my turn to lend a helping hand, to transmit that enthusiasm and winning mentality”. As a coach, he has asked for hard work, respect for the rules, faith in ourselves as a group and a sense of responsibility. When training's over though, he's still one of the lads”. And the fans? “I think the last few months have brought us closer to the supporters, we see them every day. They give but they also expect.
