The Old Lady have been demoted to the Second Division for their involvement in the Calciopoli scandal, a situation which the Frenchman concedes is extraordinary. “No one could ever have imagined this would happen, it's unthinkable, but that's life. Swedish World Cup striker Ibrahimovic is keen to join the exodus, with his agent stating the former Ajax star has no intention of playing in a lower league next season. However Deschamps is standing firm regarding Ibrahimovic's position, insisting that irrespective of the agent's comments the hit-man remains under the control of Juve. They also have the option of taking the case to civil courts, and Deschamps has not given up hope of leading his side in the top flight next season.
