Vieri surprisingly offered his services to the demoted giants on Monday, but the 33-year-old will not be wearing the Bianconeri jersey this term. Reports suggest that the Turin club rejected his approach after Coach Didier Deschamps confirmed that he saw no need to sign the former Azzurri striker. 報導推測是因為 Deschamps不要他。 Vieri, currently a free agent after rescinding his contract with Sampdoria, is apparently now set to contact Atalanta – another of his former clubs – with the same offer. The player has been paired with Shakhtar Donetsk and is also considering a spell in Qatar's multi-million pound championship to end his career, although money doesn't seem to be Vieri's main concern.
