Matteo Paro, one of the best players on the field at Rimini, was a happy man after scoring the opening goal, even if the draw left a bitter taste in the mouth: “Scoring today was the realisation of a boyhood dream. It was a really emotional moment but sadly their equaliser took the shine off things”. Matteo was positive about his team's efforts: “We were very good in the first half, we created a number of chances, even if we failed to convert. We can only get better though; we still need to adapt to this championship where maybe a little more “trickery” and aggression is called for. They were probably in slightly better condition; a number of us have been here from the start of our preparations but others only got back from international duty a few days ago… that said, things can only improve”.
