Juventus – Vicenza: a proud history
On day two of the championship, the Bianconeri find themelves face to face
with a fierce rival from the second half of the 1970's: Vicenza.
Before his reign in Turin, Paolo Rossi was the crown jewel
in a combative side that secured second spot in Serie A
in the 1977/78 season, just behind Juventus.
The rivalry was reignited at the end of the 90's
when Vicenza earned themselves a place in the Supercup against Juventus
after their historic victory in the 1997 Coppa Italia.
The Bianconeri were to win the game 3-0.

Although there are no titles or trophies on offer on Saturday,
the game is of vital importance to both sides.
Just as Deschamps'꘠men are keen to redeem themselves
after their draw against Rimini, Vicenza are looking to
bounce back from a 2-0 home defeat by Genoa on opening day.
Both goals came from corners and in the second half the Biancorossi
were the equals of their more highly rated opposition.
儘管週六一戰無關錦標，這場比賽仍對雙方有著攸關生死的重要性，
JUVE亟欲彌補戰平 Rimini的局面，Vicenza則想從主場０－２敗戰 Genoa中反彈，

Head coach and ex Torino boss, Giancarlo Camolese,
favours a 4-2-3-1 formation, transforming to a 4-4-1-1 in defence.
The trio of Raimondo, Pietrabasi and Sgrigna like to play off
lone striker Cavalli, with the dependable pairing of Zanini and
Helguera providing cover in midfield. Two former Toro players watch over
the defence, Martinelli and Fissore, while midfielder Francesco Scardina
deserves special mention. The 24 year-old moved to Vicenza in search of
first team football after proving his worth in the Juventus Primavera
a few years ago, alongside the likes of Paro and Guzman.
However, Camolese has options all over the park,
not least between the sticks, with Guardalben, Sterchele and Zancope
all number ones in the truest sense of the word.

Camolese在陣容上充滿選擇性，即便是在門將位置上也是，
Guardalben、Sterchele、Zancope都有當一號的水準。
（這個 Helguera是 Luis Bujia Helguera，之前在 Fiorentina，
是 Real Madrid那個 Ivan Helguera親弟弟。）
