Deschamps: “The same grit and determination as ever”
“You could call it an ‘emergency’ situation with so many players
unavailable, but this leaves more space to the younger players.
It's not ideal that so many injuries have happened all at once,
especially with the games we have coming up, but I'm not worried.
I said from the start that I'm counting on the whole group,
and the current situation has simply given space to those who haven't had
that many chances so far”. With more than ten important first team
players unavailable for the clash with Lecce tomorrow,
Didier Deschamps has been forced to look at other alternatives,
but as he revealed in his pre-match press conference this afternoon,
the Frenchman isn't worried. “We need to show the same grit and
determination as ever if we're going to get the right result,
but this isn't about excuses, I have absolute faith in all the players
who will take the field tomorrow afternoon. We'll be looking to maintain
the same performance levels we've shown throughout the season and
take three points away from the game”.
超過十名一軍成員無法在對 Lecce一戰上陣，Deschamps被迫找尋替選方案，
不過他在賽前記者會上這麼說：「有這麼多球員無法上陣，
你可以說這是『緊急情況』，不過這給了年輕球員更多空間，
一大票球員同時出現傷病不甚理想，特別是在面臨接下來的賽程時，
不過我並不擔心，我一開始就說過了，我仰賴的是整個團隊，
現在的情況給予那些至今沒有太多機會的球員空間，
如果要取得良好賽果，我們得像過往那般展現出同樣的膽識與決心，
這並非在找藉口，我對明天下午將上場的球員有著絕對的信心，
我們的目標是維持這賽季以來表現出的水平，拿下這場比賽的三個積分。」
The game marks an important test for the Bianconeri's promising crop
of young players. “If there's one characteristic young players have,
it's enthusiasm. They might make the occasional mistake but
their attitude and desire will make up for that. They just need to keep
their feet on the ground”.
這場比賽標誌著對 JUVE青年軍的重要考驗，Deschamps說：
「如果有一項特質是年輕球員所具備的，那就是熱情，
他們可能偶有出錯，不過其態度與渴望將有所彌補，他們只需保持腳踏實地。」
Deschamps is aware of the dangers of over-hyping rising stars.
“These guys have quality but they mustn't get carried away
after only one or two performances. They need to confirm what
they're capable of and show continuity. When they read about themselves
in the press there's always a danger of losing sight of what's important,
but what counts overall is hard work and the desire to improve.
The second players lose their humility, they're in trouble,
and this is particularly the case with the younger ones”.
Deschamps瞭解過度宣傳所謂新星的危險：
「這些小子有水平，但是絕不能因為一、兩場比賽的表現就過於激動，
他們得證明自己的能耐，並且展現出持續力，
當他們在媒體上讀到自己，總有迷失重點為何的危險，

Talk moved on to the day's opposition, Lecce. “They might concede a lot
but they also score a lot too. They're an attacking minded team and
they like to get men forward. As a result, they tend to defend high up
the pitch - which is a risky tactic - but they can certainly cause
the opposition serious problems at the other end. They've also been
unlucky recently. With the way they played and the chances they had,
they could have won their last two games, but in the end,
results didn't go their way. They might be vulnerable on the counter
but this is just a characteristic of their attacking style of play”.
Deschamps接下來談到 Lecce：「他們可能失球很多，不過同樣能進很多球，
他們在心態上偏向進攻，而且喜歡壓上，因此防線壓得比較前面，
這是有風險的戰術，不過從另一方面來說也無疑能給對手帶來嚴重問題，
他們近來同樣不太走運，以其打法與獲得的機會，近兩戰都應該能贏，
結果卻非如此，他們可能對反擊難以防守，不過這只是其進攻風格的特質之一。」
Juventus have a tough set of games ahead. “We're playing some of
the top teams in Serie B over the coming weeks. Given our current
situation it would be better to have all our players available,
but that's football sometimes”.
JUVE即將碰上艱苦的賽程，Deschamps說：
「我們在未來幾週將碰上一些義乙的頂級球隊，基於我們的狀況，
所有球員都能在陣會好得多，不過足球有時候就是這樣。」

Is there any chance of a some of these players recovering in time
for the trip to Genoa? “We might have Guzman back but as for the others,
they'll only begin physical activity on Monday or Tuesday,
apart from the rest of the squad. Meanwhile we'll be working hard
to prepare for the game”.
有哪些球員有機會趕在對 Genoa一戰之前復原的嗎？Deschmaps說：
「Guzman可能歸隊，不過其他人在下週一或週二才要開始體能訓練，
其間我們將努力備戰。」
With the suspension of Buffon, Mirante will start his first game
of the season between the sticks. “Antonio already has good experience
in both Serie A and B. He's also been training with Gigi
so he's improving all the time, and he showed his quality both in
the pre-season friendlies and against Albinoleffe, where he provided
real security at the back. It's not easy being second goalkeeper
but he's calm and laid back and looking forward to taking his chance”.
Buffon紅牌禁賽，Mirante將在本賽季初次首發，
Deschamps說：「Mirante已經擁有在義甲、乙的良好經歷，
也一直跟 Buffon在一起訓練，所以持續在進步，
季前友誼賽跟對 Albinoleffe一戰都展現了實力，他能給予後防真正的保障，
擔任第二門將並不輕鬆，不過他很冷靜也很放鬆地期待著這次的上場機會。」
