Deschamps: “The slap in the face we needed”
Minutes after the final whistle, Didier Deschamps gave
his thoughts on Juventus' first championship defeat of the season.
“We knew we had an emergency on our hands but I don't want to make excuses.
Mantova showed more aggression than us and when we don't match the
opposition on a physical level we are obviously going to encounter
difficulties. Taking on Mantova at this stadium is certainly not an
easy task, and unfortunately we arrived here without a number of players.
We have to accept the defeat and react well on Tuesday when we play Cesena
at home. This defeat is the slap in the face we needed to wake us up.
We've made a poor start after the winter break, and we now have to
get back on track as soon as possible”.
ＤＤ在比賽結束後談到對聯賽首敗的看法：「我們知道自己處於緊急情況，
但是我不打算以此為藉口，Mantova比我們展現出更高的侵略性，
當我們在體能上無法與對手匹敵，很明顯就會遭遇困境，
在這個球場打 Mantova肯定不是簡單的任務，不幸的是我們有不少球員缺陣，
我們得接受這場敗仗，然後在週二主場對 Cesena時作出良好回應，
這次失利正是要打醒我們的一耳光，我們在冬休後的開局慘不忍睹，
現在必須盡快重回軌道。」

Marchisio: “We have to put this defeat behind us”
“Mantova were more concrete, especially in the second half, even if they
were quite lucky with the goal. We weren't concrete enough and we lacked
the desire to put the ball in the back of the net on occasions”.
Marchisio說：「Mantova更專心，特別是在下半場，儘管他們的進球有點幸運，
我們不夠專注，在機會來臨時缺乏把球送進門裡的欲望。」
On the back of a tough afternoon, Claudio Marchisio commented on
the team's first championship defeat of the season. “We have to start
thinking about Tuesday straight away. It's an extremely important game
as it allows us to make up the three point we lost today.
We just have to put this defeat behind us and focus on the future”.
接著談到要怎麼看待本季首敗：「我們必須馬上開始思考週二的比賽，
這是場極度重要的比賽，能讓我們拿到三分彌補今天的損失，
我們只能把這場敗戰拋在腦後，專注在未來的比賽上。」
