Mirante proves a worthy deputy to Buffon
“I came off my line and got my hands to the ball but as I was falling
the Cesena striker collided with me. It seemed like a foul to me”.
This was Antonio Mirante's view of the incident which sparked off
mass protest from the Cesena players, the referee disallowing their
goal in time added on for an illegal challenge on the Bianconeri keeper.
There was no doubt about it as the referee had already blown his whistle
for the foul before the shot was struck. The decision was met with
a deep sigh of relief by Antonio who really didn't deserve to concede
a second having deputised for Buffon in such emphatic style,
giving a performance which earned the praise of Mister Deschamps.
“That's my job, I need to be ready when the time comes and make the most
of the opportunities given to me. But it's always nice when the boss pays
you a compliment”.
「我離開球門線接球，不過同時被 Cesena前鋒撞上，對我來說這應該是個犯規。」
Mirante先談到對方被取消的那個進球，之後談到被主教練稱讚後的想法：
「這是我的工作，當時機來臨時我必須作好準備，將機會作最大的運用，
不過能聽到主教練的稱讚總是感覺很好。」
Mirante's performance seems even more impressive when, following the
sending-off of Zebina and the injury to Kovac, one considers he was
conducting a makeshift defence pairing of Birindelli and Piccolo.
“Unfortunately we've been in a state of emergency for a while now,
especially in defence, where, unlike any other department,
you need to play a lot together to form an understanding.
We can only hope this moment will be over soon”.
接著談到後防傷病與禁賽問題，Mirante說：「此刻的我們很不幸處於非常時刻，
特別是在後防，不同於其他部門，後防組必須一起踢球許多才能養成對彼此的理解，
我們只能希望盡快撐過這段時間。」

Deschamps: “Great personality and character”
Shortly after the full-time whistle, Didier Deschamps gave his analysis
of the 2-1 win over Cesena. “For an hour we played very well tonight.
Unfortunately we made hard work of things at the end but going down to
ten man and losing Kovac through injury certainly didn't help.
The team showed great fighting spirit and a demonstration of personality
and character was exactly what we needed after Saturday's defeat.”
ＤＤ說：「今晚我們打了一個小時的好球，很不幸地，我們的努力到了最後，
演變成要十人應戰外加 Kovac受傷退場，這一點幫助也沒有，
球隊展現出色的奮戰精神、證明自身的性格特質，這正是週六失利後我們需要的！」
The coach was asked what had made the difference tonight, with respect
to the performance against Mantova. “Certainly it helped having two
important players back in the starting line-up, Palladino and Camoranesi.
But the team's attitude was also spot on. We suffered towards the end,
with things obviously made more complicated with the one-man disadvantage,
but overall it was a great result”.
被問到比對 Mantova一戰，什麼在今晚形成差異，ＤＤ說：
「Palladino、Camoranesi這兩名重要球員回到先發肯定有所幫助，
不過球隊的態度也很正確，我們在比賽末段苦戰，
少打一人的劣勢顯然讓事情更複雜，但是整體來說這個是絕佳的賽果。」
Zebina's sending-off puts even more pressure on the Bianconeri's
beleaguered defence ahead of Bari's visit on Saturday. “We've suffered
a lot in that area this season, but hopefully we'll have Kovac back
in time for the next game. Will I bring Ciro Ferrara out of retirement?!
How about Montero or Torricelli while we're at it! But seriously,
things would obviously be a lot easier if we had more defenders available
but unfortunately that's not the case at the moment”.
Zebina紅牌退場讓球隊週六客場戰 Bari的後防線困境加重，ＤＤ說：
「我們本季在該區域損失慘重，不過我們對 Kovac能即時歸隊懷抱希望，
我會不會把 Ferrara從退休中找回來？！不如順便找 Montero、Torricelli一起！
嚴肅地說，如果我們有更多後衛事情顯然會容易點，但不幸的是此刻並非如此。」

The journalists asked why Camoranesi was taken off.
“Camo's still not 100% and we took a risk playing him from the start.
He did very well for an hour but he just didn't have the gas to last
the full ninety minutes”.
記者問到為什麼換下 Camoranesi，ＤＤ說：「Camo還不在百分百狀態，
我們冒險讓他先發出賽，他打了出色的一個小時，不過沒有辦法打滿九十分鐘。」
And the performance of Mirante? “He would start in goal for any number
of Serie A teams. It's not always easy for him being second choice keeper
but he never loses his concentration. Working alongside Gigi certainly
helps and in the end it's important to have players on the bench
who are capable of securing valuable points”.
對於 Mirante的表現，ＤＤ說：
「他在義甲不管哪一隊都會是先發，對他來說當第二門將並非都很輕鬆，
但是他從未失去專注力，跟 Buffon共事肯定有所幫助，
到頭來重要的是在板凳上擁有能夠守住有價值分數的球員。」

Trezeguet overtakes Anastasi
“I'm pleased with the goal as it helped us secure an important victory.
Even more so with Bari coming up in a few days' time; we need to show
that Mantova was just a one-off”. David Trezeguet sealed his 132nd goal
with the Bianconeri tonight, overtaking Anastasi in the Juventus all time
scorers chart. It was a valuable goal which helped Deschamps' men hold off
the Cesena come back and take top spot in the table alongside Napoli:
“After the sending-off of Zebina the game obviously changed shape and
we had to work for the result. These things happen though. Jonathan has
apologised to the whole team, he's a very important player to us.
Someone else will need to take his place against Bari, but whoever plays
will get the job done”.
Trezeguet說：「我很高興能進球，因為它幫助球隊拿到一場重要勝利，
幾天後就要打 Bari讓此戰獲勝更重要，我們得證明 Mantova的失利只會發生一次，
Zebina被罰下場之後比賽大幅改觀，我們必須為賽果拼搏，
這種事總會發生的，Zebina已經跟全隊道歉了，他對我們來說非常重要，

Del Piero: “That's the spirit”
“It was essential for us to get a result tonight and we gave everything
we had to make sure of the three points”. Alex Del Piero fought like
a gladiator against Cesena, firing up the crowd and, in his role as captain,
defending the Bianconeri's corner with the referee on a number of occasions:
“The booking didn't bother me. I spoke a lot with the referee as you
always need to be respected on the field. I hope I won't have to
talk as much in the future so I can save my breath for running”.
Del Piero說：「對我們來說今晚取得戰果是必要的，我們盡全力確保拿到三分，
拿黃牌完全不會困擾我，我跟裁判講了很多話，因為在場上你總是需要被尊重，
我希望未來自己不需要再說這麼多，這樣我就能省下氣力來奔跑。」
And finally, on the defensive emergency: “We have a number of problems
in that department, but the guys who played tonight acquitted themselves
brilliantly in every respect and this is the spirit we need to have
every time”.
「我們在後防有許多問題，不過今晚出賽的人在各方面都出眾地完成了責任，
這就是我們每次比賽都會需要的精神。」
