Deschamps: “It's all down to us tomorrow”
If it weren't for that nine point penalty, the race to Serie A might be
as good as over with almost 20 games left to play. 48 points from the 63
on offer would have seen Juventus take an unassailable 11 point lead into
the home straight. But the penalty remains, and as they enter the closing
phase of the championship the Bianconeri find themselves in the thick of
a bone fide promotion scrap.

The draw with Spezia last weekend saw Juventus emerge from the first half
of the season with a two point lead and Didier Deschamps already has in mind
what he requires from his players as they prepare themselves for round two:
“The first half of the championship was a positive one for us;
we took 48 points from the 63 available and we have both the best attack
and defence in the league. Of course we could have done better,
but our aim is to keep up the good work. Only two automatic promotion places
are on offer and those behind us will certainly be wanting to overtake us;
with so few points in it, anything can happen. Some of the teams have also
strengthened their squads over the transfer window, Genoa in particular”.

「上半季對我們來說很正向，我們拿下６３分中的４８分，攻防都是聯賽第一，

Juventus learned the hard way back in September, held to a 1-1 draw against
a determined Rimini on match day one. It was the Bianconeri's first taste of
their new reality and on the eve of the return leg, Deschamps mused on the
lessons learned: “That afternoon we learned just what we had ahead of us;
when the welcome party was over, we found ourselves face to face with a
super-charged team. That's how it was at Rimini and it's been like that
on every away trip since. We know it's not easy to stay focused for
a whole week, especially for those players who are used to setting
their sights on rather different goals”.
JUVE在九月義乙首輪遭 Rimini以１－１逼平，現在將要二度交手，
ＤＤ要球員們想起那次學到的教訓：「那個下午我們學到的事歷歷在目，
當時歡迎慶祝剛結果，我們發現自己正面對上一隻充滿電的超頻球隊，
從那之後的每次作客比賽都是如此；我們知道要一整週保持專注並不容易，
特別是對那些往常把眼界放在不同目標上的球員來說。」
Five months on from their first head-to-head, Deschamps is well aware of
the threat Rimini will pose at the Olimpico tomorrow: “Unfortunately we
still have a crisis at the back. It's not easy to build an understanding
in defence when you're continually forced to change the players around.
Rimini have pace up front so it's no simple task. But it's all down to us
tomorrow. A win is exactly what people will be expecting”.
距離初次交鋒已有五個月，ＤＤ仍熟知 Rimini明天能帶來的威脅：
「不幸的是我們後防線上仍有危機，持續被迫變動陣容時要建立理解並不容易，
