Del Piero hails end of nightmare

Alessandro Del Piero's brace secured Juve's ticket
to Serie A at the end of “a nightmare year.”
“This has been quite an achievement,” said the captain
of their return to the top flight despite a nine-point penalty.
對於重回義甲，隊長說：「這是相當不錯的成果。」
“Some have spoken of this year as a nightmare and that is true for
many reasons. We lost a member of staff, Romeo, then Alessio and Riccardo.”

The latter two are Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri,
the 17-year-old youth team players who tragically drowned
in the lake at the Vinovo training ground on December 15, 2006.
The Bianconeri were demoted to the second tier of Italian football
in the Calciopoli trial. Originally their penalty was 30 points,
but it was reduced to 17 and then nine on appeal.
“The way we got into Serie B was also a nightmare.
But today is a happy day, we had a long and difficult run,
so it is right to celebrate in this moment.”
「我們被降入義乙的方式也是一場惡夢，但是今天是快樂的一天，
我們歷經一段漫長且艱辛的路程，所以在此刻慶祝是很合適的。」
Del Piero is also the current Serie B top scorer with 20 goals.

Nedved: We've paid our dues

Pavel Nedved has hinted he will continue for at least another year,
as he still has “so much motivation” with Juventus.
The former Ballon d'Or winner decided to stay with the club
after their demotion to Serie B in the Calciopoli scandal and
today's 5-1 win at Arezzo mathematically sealed their promotion.
“This is a great joy, a feeling I had waited a whole year to celebrate
and we all worked so very hard for it,” said the Czech midfielder.
Nedved說：「這種巨大的喜悅，是我等了一整年要好好慶祝的感覺，
我們全都為此辛勤地努力。」
Nedved had considered retirement over the last couple of years,
but always found reason to continue.
“It is true I am struggling physically, but I can still keep pace with
the youngsters and am very motivated now we have found the top flight,
a journey we have been on for a year.”
「我正在為體能狀態掙扎是事實，但是我仍能保持跟年輕人的步調，
現在我們確定重回頂級聯賽，時隔一年，我的動機十分強烈。」
The Bianconeri topped the table with three rounds to go despite starting
from a nine-point penalty.

“It was not easy and I think we showed real character.
We have repaid the Juve fans and above all have paid our dues.
Now we have done our duty by bringing this club back into Serie A.”

Giorgio Chiellini also scored a brace in today's 5-1 victory,
despite netting only once before all season.
“It was important to get back into Serie A and we have suffered
a great deal in these months,” said the defender.

“We earned back the top flight on the field
and proved that we suffered an injustice.”

Trez: Juve simply the best

David Trezeguet claims Juventus' domination of Serie B proves they were
always the strongest team, even without the Calciopoli advantages.
“Juventus have proved once again that they are the strongest side,”
said the Frenchman after the 5-1 win at Arezzo mathematically secured
their return to the top flight.
Trezeguet說：「JUVENTUS已經再次證明自己仍是最強的球隊。」
“We managed to get back into Serie A and that was our primary aim
for this season. My compliments go to the older and youngest players,
as everyone put in a great performance throughout the year.”
「我們鎖定了升級資格，這是我們本季的首要目標，
我要讚美老一輩與年輕一輩的球員，因為每個人在這一整年間都有出色的表現。」
Trezeguet was on target in that match that ensured promotion,
achieved three rounds early despite a nine-point penalty.
His Bianconeri teammate Jonathan Zebina was also celebrating
the rapid comeback following last summer's demotion.
“It is difficult in these moments, but I have always done my duty
and behaved like a professional,” said the defender who was often
singled out for criticism by the fans.

“I am happy to be appreciated again, but I have always been a Juventino.
I am a professional and simply had a tough year. These problems brought
the best out of me and I'm pleased to have earned back the respect of
the tifosi.”
