Secco defends troublesome Tiago

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco refuses to
see unsettled midfielder Tiago Mendes as a burden.
體育總監 Secco 拒絕將 Tiago 視為負擔。
Tiago has failed to settle in Turin since arriving from Lyon last summer
and had looked set for a transfer in pre-season.
Tiago 去季從 Lyon 加盟後無法融入，季前看似轉會在即。
However, the Portuguese international refused to move to
Everton, Newcastle, Tottenham or Monaco and ended up staying
with the Bianconeri, against the club's wishes.
然而他拒絕轉會上述四家球會，最終留隊，違背了球會的意願。
“The boy isn't a problem,” Secco maintained in the Corriere dello Sport.
Secco 對《Corriere dello Sport》這麼說：「他不是個問題。」
“He's not the type of person to create trouble inside the club,
even if he did do this at first by refusing all the moves
we lined up for him.
「他不是那種會在球會內部製造麻煩的人，
儘管他最初以拒絕我們幫他安排的全部轉會這麼做了。」
“We will see what happens in January because maybe he will wake up
and become useful again.”
「我們再看一月事情怎麼進展，因為或許他會覺醒然後再次變得有所助益。」
Sergio Almiron arrived at the same time as Tiago and also struggled
with the Old Lady, but he is now impressing on loan at Fiorentina.
Almiron 跟他同時加盟，也在隊上有所掙扎，不過目前租借 Fiorentina 表現出色。
“Almiron's form in Florence is a sign that I didn't make the wrong choice
in signing him,” Secco insisted.
Secco 對此表示：「Almiron 在佛羅倫斯的狀態是我簽下他並非錯誤選擇的訊號。」
“On the one hand, I'm glad he's doing well because we still own him
but on the other hand I'm disappointed he failed to perform with us -
the Juve shirt can weigh heavily on some players.”
「從另一個角度來看，我很高興他幹得不錯，因為他的所有權仍在我們手上，
但是反過來說，我很失望他沒有能在我們隊上有此表現－－
對於部分球員而言，JUVE 的球衣是很沉重的。」
