Both Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon are set to miss Juventus' last
game of the Champions League group stages against Bayern Munich.
The Bianconeri defender is definitely out and will need at least 20 days
before his return to action due to a muscular problem.
"It is a pity to lose him at this stage," revealed Ferrara. "Giorgio was
in great form and we needed him. However, Nicola Legrottaglie can cover for
him."
"Legrottaglie was going to play this game anyway and I am confident he will
do well."
Buffon suffered a setback related to his knee injury, which has been affecting
him for the past two months.
The Italian goalkeeper confessed he was going to undergo surgery after the
Inter game but Juve's backroom staff are wondering whether it would be worth
it to wait for another week.
